President Obama’s Debate Performance: Nothing is as it seems to be.
If President Obama botches the second and third debate, he will lose the election. Nobody expects this to happen, but after his first, seemingly deliberate and disastrous performance in the first debate, it remains a distinct possibility.
President Obama is a respected, gifted orator. His skill and prowess in debate is well established. He lost the first debate to Romney. He passed up opportunities to thrust and parry and jab, but he let them go to his Vice-President, Joe Biden. He did so, but why?
Some, including myself, have argued that he did so as a tactic in a greater strategy. He would kick ass in the next one. The jobs report would help vindicate him, and counterpunch Romney without Obama ever having to even pick up a glove.
Well, sort of.
The weak campaigning, seemingly all about Big Bird, has led me to a different conclusion.
Obama wants to lose the election, and deliberately so.
The economy is so bad that he can’t fix it, even in another term. If he can’t fix it, the next generation of Democrats will be out of luck and too old (Hillary), to do anything about it. They won’t win in 2016.
I think Obama has found that he’s not cut out for the job, and that if he hands the torch to Romney, Romney will mess up even more than Bush and he will have to fix the fix, and the fix will be on!
I mean, the tactic of losing the debate is part of a broader strategy to lose the election. The Republicans will still be able to block everything the wants to do in the next term. This election is too close as it is. So, let the Republicans win this time, and screw things up really bad for a double, or triple term for Democrats next time.
Hillary deserves a term, and then someone else, right?
I think this is the case.
And may Obama pardon me if I am wrong!
